The Dairy Development Council, the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program, and Prarie Farms will come together to offer a dairy product giveaway next week at Christian County High School. According to Christian County Ag Extension Agent Matt Futrell, the event will begin June 30th at 9 am.

They will be giving away 1,200 boxes of products to those who wish to participate. Futrell says the boxes include common dairy products many people use every day.

Futrell adds that those wishing to participate in the program will not need to get out of their vehicle to receive their box and there will be FFA members present to assist in handing out the products.

With June being Dairy Month in Kentucky, the giveaway also offers an opportunity for the community to support the industry. The program will begin at 9 am. on Tuesday and will continue until the 1,200 boxes of dairy products are given away.
