Dakota 44 is a range of fresh turkey products available in easy meal and snack formats. According to the brand, the new range cater to the three core consumer demands of “bolder flavours, greater ease and more transparency”.
“We believe in your right to have crazy delicious food wherever and whenever you feel like it,” said Renee Robertson, senior marketing manager at Dakota 44. “And because we don’t believe in bland or boring eats, we’ve developed a brand with flavors and forms consumers desire, but haven’t found in their grocery stores yet.”
The products are Global Animal Partnership certified and fed a 100% vegetarian diet with no antibiotics ever, a focus for the business given that 68% of consumers want to know where their poultry comes from and 62% want to know how it was raised (Mintel Poultry Report, 2018).
